Friends of the Muscatatuck River Society Monthly Minutes Opening: 12-3-02 Call to order by president Dan Shade at 7:00 PM. Attendance: Dan Shade Tom Moore Ken Huff John Huff Joann Moore Nathan Nichols Jenny Vogel Andy Ertel Larry Allsop Minutes: From last meeting reviewed and accepted. Treasurer's Report: Local balance $813.58, HHH balance $500 Old Business: Susannah Hole made the site maps. No other old business was concluded. New Business: Andy Ertel led a session on building our business plan. The Brainstorming List from January 9, 2002 was revisited and prioritized. The #1 priority is the 3 annual cleanups. 2 is water monitoring. The other 21 items were listed as short term, long term, eliminated, or checked as being accomplished. Most things were covered by the first two priorities either directly or indirectly. We agreed to try to link to other groups and be listed as an email link with other organizations. Next meeting we will finish building the plan. We will try to get on the North Vernon Plain Dealer's Community Wish List. Some items needed are: flat bottom boat, canoe, portable chop (demolition saw), axes, entrenchment (fold up) shovels, bags, vinyl gloves, bags, storage facility, ???
