Friends of the Muscatatuck River Society Monthly Minutes Opening: 3-4-03 Call to order by president Dan Shade at 6:55 PM. Attendance: Dan Shade Tom Moore Susannah Hole Larry Allsop Minutes: From last meeting reviewed and accepted. Treasurer's Report: Local balance is $277.17. Five hundred was spent on shirts, which we will recoup. Old Business: Annual meeting review: Buy less fruit and plan the drawing better. Newsletter- mostly tabled until Bonnie and Jason are present. Questions about Chamber costs- maybe distribute once a year with them before our annual meeting. What will be the frequency of our own publication, etc.? Tie to the HHH, our web page with Muscatatuck Park, and canoe clubs. 319- Greg says it is approved, awaiting the US president's signature. We need to write a job description, determine advertisement, and process to screen applicants. For all of this we need someone to facilitate for us-possibly Gary Conant. New Business: . Dates will stay the same. We will talk to Greg about the June date. T-shirts are in and cost $10 per. They are available from Larry at Crosley and at the April meeting. HHH Annual Meeting: Monday March 24th at 6:00PM in the South East Indiana Career Center cafeteria, $8.00 per meal. Susannah will go at 5:30 to set up our trifold display board (courtesy of Kim Lampert). Members, trash data, and pictures will be on the black covered corkboard. River Monitoring: Our data is not acceptable to the state because we lace a five day BOD5 reading.
