Ken Huff tendered this letter to the group- FMRS, As of April 6, 2004, I wish to resign from the office of Vice-President of the Friends group. This has been a decision made over the past several months. I was prepared to resign earlier, but the need for me to help with this past Saturday's river cleanup delayed this resignation. My decision is not made in anger, as I am not upset with the group or any individual in the group. I would like to remain active with the group by helping with future river cleanups. I want the group to be successful. I believe in its goals. I just can't hold an office at this point in time. Thank You, Ken Huff Everyone expressed gratitude to Ken and his considerable efforts. Tom extorted promises from him. We all respected his needs and wished him well. I already miss his steadying influence! Vice-President Huff called for adjournment for the last time at 9:05.
