Get an update on Treasurers Report. Follow up on Old Business. Agenda Items: Time Allocated: 1) Call Meeting to Order 2) Approval of Minutes 2 minutes 3) Treasurer’s Report 5 minutes -Wal-mart grant check at HHH Centra checking $885.02 Savings account $26.18 Indiana Bank account $2,043.15 HHH account- at least $1000 4) Old Business A) Muscatatuck River Music Festival 5 minutes tabled -over this winter, we need to decide whether to continue participation. -Board requests no less than 10 volunteers, they must commit by March. -Subcommittee will be formed for managing events like this. B) Summer Projects 10 minutes -CMWP-Second draft of management plan sent. Grant application for next phase of 319 for implementation has been completed and applied for; $508,000 total. -Wal-Mart Grant -Bass Pro Shop Grant- lost the hook, will use HHH letter head next time. Get letter head from Robert to use. -Civic group to replace Kevin for food acquisition, Kevin still chief -Need to make copies/card of tax exempt form and compile “approved vendor list,” action needed… 5)New Business A) Plan Shady Sweep (October 4, 2008) 31 minutes Food- Pizza Kingdom on board, Kelly? will help, Cherie Ticknor, George Uppling Drinks- Tom, IGA Gloves- Les will get what we need, Registration- went smoothly, 3 sign-up sections, one open ended, make a sheet for Tobias; Sherida, Tricia, Kim, Kelly(?) Cell phone list- Tom Trash removal- Tom contact county commissioners and highway department? Kevin, Tom, and Troy will call the known site leaders 6) Correspondence – Troy earned certification as a Hoosier River Watch Water Quality Monitor. Barb Shaw of the Community Foundation approached Sherida about a local $10,000 grant opportunity that will be divided among deserving causes that apply. Kevin’s Leadership Academy was paid from a similar grant. Kevin would encourage anyone able to take the Leadership class.
