Friends,   Registration and eating began promptly at 6:00 PM. President Kevin greeted all at 6:15 and introduced Vice President Troy. Kevin spoke of 2008 as a qualified success, setting a record in attendance with 183 at the Spring Clean.  He credited careful planning, volunteers, and a large number of businesses providing assistance.   Mayor Harold "Soup" Campbell was then called upon to induct the newly elected officers. Mayor Campbell first inducted President Kevin Jayne, then proceeded with Vice President Troy Jackson, Secretary Tom Moore, and Treasurer Christinia Koons as a group.   Troy presented the year in review in a power point slideshow presenting the businesses, commissioners, highway workers, and volunteers that made it possible to retrieve 19,000 pounds of trash and more than 100 tires this past year. They hope to increase the number of core group people attending meetings and to develop more site leaders. Kevin ended with, "Mother Nature Thanks You!"   Windows Live™: E-mail. Chat. Share.
